About the Caregiver
My name is Hong Xue Fang, and I am also known as Xue Fang Jie by my peers. I picked up confinement care from my personal experiences and through reading articles on confinement care online. As a grandmother of seven grandchildren, I was inspired by them to continue caring for babies because of the joy they have brought to me. I have experience in caring for babies with jaundice and am knowledgeable in feeding, positioning, bathing and breastfeeding newborns. I am also skilled in making traditional confinement food such as Papaya Fish Soup, Steamed Chicken in Rice Wine Sauce and Western meals such as Grilled Salmon, Spaghetti Bolognese and more. Moreover, I am fluent in Mandarin, Hakka, Cantonese, basic Malay and English. I also provide simple household services such as cleaning and laundry. My services will be available from May 2017 onwards.
