At 35 years old, I thought I was healthy and fit, doing my usual running and typical workout routine at gym, but my body did not feel the same as before. After a few episodes of back strain from lifting of heavy stuffs and swinging actions, I had a weak back and found it difficult to maintain my weight. My last draw happened when I experienced a sharp shooting pain in my lower back after a lateral pull, which was so bad that I could not sit. I consulted a specialist and was informed that fortunately, it was just a bad hamstring strain. I went for physiotherapy and learned to swim while nursing my back. At the same time, I read widely about health, nutrition and fitness where I discover the simple principle of practical diet and functional workout to keep my mind and body healthy and conditioned all the time. This know-how is powerful. Now, I am not only confident in my own health but also stronger and independent for my own health and fitness knowing that the principle can be adapted as we grow older. To share this know-how, I took certification courses to be fitness trainer with Singapore Sports Council and American Council for Exercise so I could develop and teach my workout programme - I am Trim and Fit for Life (TM). I graduated with B. Sc (Hons) with a Biochemistry major and Microbiology from School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. I had more than 16 years of work experience in various commercial and leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.

I believe that everyone can progressively regain our health because the body is capable of healing itself if we allow it. Join me to be Trim and Fit for Life.

I am Trim and Fit for Life (TFL) Programme:

1) TFL Clinic — Assess your fitness level and teach yourself the simple and powerful principle to improve your weight, fitness and health — half-day workshop

2) TFL Coaching and Conditioning — Be coached and trained through the principle to achieve your health and fitness goal — 4 weeks coaching and 6 weeks conditioning, 1.5 hours per session

3) TFL Personal Coaching - Private teaching and coaching lesson at your time and your place, 1.5 hours per session
