I have been one of the primary caregivers to my mother, who was a stroke patient, for 14 years. I took care of her emotional needs by talking to her and bringing her out. Hence, I understand the need to provide quality elder care and am constantly seeking to upgrade my skills in elder care. I have also volunteered at Keeping Hope Alive, a charitable organisation which helps the elderly and less privileged families by paying social visits to these families on a regular basis. I enjoy interacting with the families, particularly with the elderly and children. I find a sense of fulfilment in creating meaningful human connections and helping them improve their lives. Thus, it is through these experiences that I have gained confidence in the knowledge and skills I have in accompanying and engaging the elderly.
Additionally, I have certification in CPR+AED and First Aid Training under SFATC from my diving experience. (License No.: BFA1704000)
