Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation, provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest, can significantly increase a victim’s chance of survival. In fact, for every minute that nothing is done to resuscitate the victim, the chance of survival drops by 7-10%.

In an effort to get more people trained in CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED), SHF offers an affordable CPR+AED training programme that will equip participants with the necessary life-saving skills and confidence to respond during cardiac emergencies.

The programme will combine online theory-based learning, which you can do at your own time, and in-class practical and assessment. With the completion of the two parts training, you will receive a 2-year CPR+AED certification.

Online Theory

The video, found in the registration link, will equips you with fundamental theoretical knowledge on CPR and AED. You will learn how to determine unresponsiveness, when to activate emergency medical services, identify situations that requires CPR, how to use an AED and build confidence for the in-class training session.

In-Class Practice (2.5 hours)

Participants can attend the CPR+AED in-class practical and assessment conducted by our certified instructor at SHF. Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive a CPR+AED certification with two years validity accredited by Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC).
