Yoga is about balancing fitness and mental wellness. It does not matter whether you can perfect a yoga pose or even touch your toes. The aim is to develop the awareness to better understand your body and mind with all their limitations, and nurture the power to elevate yourself to the physical and mental level that you want.
Can't do a pose? It can be modified to suit your ability. Too intense? You can always scale it down a notch or two, to the level that you can manage.
