Carmen started practicing yoga since her undergraduate days, and hasn’t looked back since. Yoga was a mind-and-body workout for her: in finding her stillness through deep breathing exercises, it has also helped built her grit and flexibility through the multi-faceted asanas (poses). She has been exposed to different forms of Yoga, such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Bikram, Hot, Therapy, Gentle and Ariel Yoga, all of which has had a positive effect on her. Armed with her experience and having completed her 200 Hrs Yoga Teacher Training, she hopes to motivate others to challenge themselves further to find their own strength, confidence and grounding. No two persons are alike, hence, yoga should be catered to your needs.
Carmen believes that with self-awareness and determination, one can understand more about their own body alignment and gradually work on each pose to the best of their ability. In time to come, one will certainly feel fitter and look younger with a good immunity system!
