Core muscle trained in Prenatal Pilates is the deepest layer of the abdominals called the transversus abdominis which its main function is to activate the core musculature and stabilize the pelvis and low back prior to movement of the body. Prenatal Pilates can help you feel better and stronger as your pregnancy progresses, while also helping you prepare for an easier labor and delivery.

Postnatal Pilates is suitable not only for newly post-partum women but also suitable for women who has experienced pregnancy, birthing process or miscarriages. Exercises will be gentle and focus on releasing, re-aligning and strengthening internally, especially the abdominal and pelvic region, helping you to progressively prepare for future, higher impact activities, and diastasis recti recovery (if there is any).
