About our Geriatric Care Manager
Joyce is a Geriatric Care Manager, as well as a nurse practitioner, with specialized knowledge on aged care issues of the older adults and family. The Geriatric Care Manager acts as a ‘one-stop organizer’ for all the required health and social care needs. By conducting home visits, she provides assistance and information on resources that are available in the community. She also helps with decision-making and guides older persons and their family to navigate the complex healthcare system.
Through working with a Geriatric Care Manager, family caregivers can have peace of mind and decreased caregiver stress in taking care of their loved ones. Most importantly, it is about improving the quality of life of the older persons, providing support in order for them to stay in their own home for as long as possible.

Credentials: Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and Master of Gerontology
