Feeling frustrated with your current job as a Training Officer in the intellectual disability sector? Is the lack of knowledge in the sector hindering your progress with your beneficiaries or even your personal growth? Is the documentation too much for you to handle and little is explained adequately?
Fret not!
I am an ex-supervisor who has been in the social service — predominantly in the intellectual disability — sector for the past 10 years. I have mentored fellow colleagues and junior staff and have been with sheltered workshops, daycare centres and training development centres.
Through these past experiences, I have encountered a lot of staff who joined the sector with little to no knowledge and mentorship from senior colleagues and supervisors as well as having the wrong expectations for the job.
My objective for providing this coaching service is to reduce any frustrations you might be having in your job by equipping you with the knowledge on how to approach and manage your beneficiaries, liaise with their caregivers and work together with your colleagues.
I can provide you private mentoring for your job on the following:
1. Your job role
2. Your beneficiaries
3. Client management
4. Caregiver and public liaisons
5. Holistic approach to every individual scenario for the client
6. Standard documentation
7. Staff relations
All the discussions with me will be kept strictly confidential. No sharing of direct information of your beneficiaries is appreciated.
