I am Ho Waifun, a personal home care associate with NTUC Health. Over my 7 years of practice in the elderly care industry, I have had the privilege of attending a series of courses pertaining to care of persons with Dementia with the Alzheimer’s Disease Association Eldersit Programme, Home care for the elderly with Comfort Keepers, as well as fundamentals of Caregiving with NTUC Health. A huge portion of my care routine revolves around engaging elderly folks with dementia, physical activity, light housekeeping, and mealtime feeding, as well as showering. I am comfortable with serving both male and female elderly clients. Apart from these relevant competencies, I am also able to converse comfortably in Cantonese, Hokkien and Mandarin.
